Breath as presence. As anchor. As sustaining rhythm. As power. As gentleness. As a force field. As containment. As strength. As softness. Breath as the foundation of it all.

This theme invites us to explore how breath shapes movement, and how movement, in turn, shapes breath. Expect many different ways of approaching the “same old” thing, each offering a fresh and revitalized sense of introspection and interoception.

Resonant Vinyasa

Find a slow, unwavering cadence to the breath, then let movement fall in along side it. With the guidance of a musical track acting as a steady anchor, much like a metronome, expect to build internal heat through the coordination of a consistent Vinyasa sequence.

As always, this intentional breath can be set aside at any time during class, allowing for a natural rhythm of inhale and exhale instead. We’re here for the experiment of shifting pace, not the didactic teaching of one “right” way.
