Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
SLOW + WELL // DIGITAL WELLBEING. INTENTIONAL SLOW LIVING. HEART BASED LISTENING.
"The secret is that the temple is anywhere you wake.”
{ 7,000 Ways to Listen, Mark Nepo }
Here. The temple is here, in this breath and moment. Are you listening? Are you awake to the wisdom?
In a world that is overworked, over stressed, over connected and over committed, it’s no wonder we’re exhausted. The fast lane leaves us stagnant and down. We must take responsibility to how we do this to ourselves.
And yet, it doesn’t have to be this way. Life should be filled with tiny sparks, small moments that are filled to the brim with joy, curiosity, wonder, magic, and intention (and also filled with the pangs of loss, melancholy, and boredom.)
Based around the works of Mark Nepo’s 7,000 Ways to Listen, and mixed with the active rebellion of “unplugging” and “getting off the grid” this afternoon excursion is about paying attention on purpose.
We’ll engage in deep listening and learn tools to slow your home, create healthy boundaries around your time and creativity, and implement self-care principles that will help you feel better, more often.
Stop tapping out. Tap in. Get real. Get present. Be here now.
We will learn, unlearn, discuss and explore:
- digital wellbeing
- slow living
- creating healthy boundaries around your time & energy
- the power of intentional pause
- the art of deep rest
- the impact of nature, silence on the brain
- why boredom is essential for growth and creativity
- compassion and creativity fatigue
